Since I didn't have my kids with me on this outing, I thought I'd also pop into Publix for a second to see if they had restocked the coffee-free Starbucks ice-cream, which was still on BOGO sale. I was in luck, so all in all, it was a very quick & productive outing.
Here is what I got:
At CVS I spent $5.80 for $43.49 worth of groceries, a savings of 87%.
(I also got back $15.96 in Extra Care Bucks to use next week)
Coupons used:
3-$1 off Wheat Thins (printable from their facebook page--become a fan)
2-Buy 1 Get 1 Free High Octane Energy Chews (printable)
1-$0.75 off king size Almond Snickers (CVS coupon--printed from coupon machine when I scanned my card.)
$20 ECBs from last week.
At Publix, I spent $2.12 for $15.70 worth of ice cream, a savings of 86%.
Coupons used:
4-$1.50 off Starbucks Coffee-Free Ice Cream (Red Plum Insert 8/8/10)
Altogether, I spent $7.92 for $59.19 worth of groceries, an average savings of 87% for the day.
Not a bad way to end the month.
Combined with my Sunday totals from Walgreens, so far this week I have spent $22.94 for $134.27 worth of groceries and merchandise, an average savings of 83%.
